The packaging section plays an essential role in preparing panels for shipment. This area is where PU and PIR sandwich panels are protected and organized after production, ensuring they are ready for delivery. This stage is vital to prevent damage during transportation and storage, protect the panels from environmental factors, and guarantee that they reach customers without any issues.

Packaging Section Operations

The operations carried out in the packaging section are largely automated through machines and systems. These operations can be grouped into:

Pre-packaging starts with the stacking section, where panels are properly aligned and arranged. This process ensures that the panels are gathered neatly and compactly.

Panels are wrapped with protective materials to safeguard against impacts, scratches, or deformation during shipment. Common protective materials include plastic stretch film, shrink film, or foam layers.

Edges and corners of the panels, which are the most vulnerable parts during handling, receive special protection. Therefore, corner protectors and edge bands are used to maintain the integrity of the panels.

During packaging, tightening machines are used to hold the packages firmly together. Each package is then labeled with details such as contents, production information, batch numbers, and other important data. Labeling is critical for traceability and inventory management during logistics.

Following labeling, the packages are placed on pallets, facilitating easier storage and transportation.

After all procedures are completed, a final inspection is performed to verify that the packages are properly sealed, labeled, and protected.
